Odour Removal After Flood

Mobi Cleaning Canada was hired to remove the odour from a guest bedroom. There was a flood that spilled water from the washroom into the guest bedroom. We were told that another company had tried to clean the bedroom 4 times and failed. Mobi Cleaning Canada Ozone the room for 2 hours. We also let it air out for 2 hours. We then applied feces and urine treatment cleaning solution to the entire surface of the carpet. Vacuuming was not necessary since the carpets had been steam cleaned 4 times from the previous company.

We let the feces and urine treatment dwell for 1 hour. We then applied a special carpet cleaning solution to the carpets. The client asked us to give special effort to the edges of the room so we were very careful and sprayed cleaning solution to the edges as requested. We then manually scrubbed by hand were the carpet met the baseboards. We then used our counter rotating brush to scrub the entire carpet from North to South and East to West. We also scrubbed the carpet in 45-degree angles as well. We worked very slowly so that the brushes were able to give a deep scrub and remove as much soil as possible. Before working on the carpet, the carpet had a discoloration.

Using the counter rotating brush, we were able to see drastic changes in the color of the carpet. We then put acid rinse into the steam cleaning machine. We then steam cleaned the carpet with hot water and steam. We steam cleaned the room two times. It was shocking how dirty the water was when we were told the carpets were cleaned four times by another company. The water was so dirty you could not see the bottom of the five gallon bucket. We also used a hand tool to steam clean behind the bedroom door and to steam clean inside the closet. At the very end we applied a mint deodourizer as well. We then cleaned up all of our tools, corner guards and cleaned all work areas, bathroom, flooring and sinks to ensure the home was in perfect condition before we leave out the door.
